Renée started her career in Toronto, launching first-of-their-kind influencer and social campaigns for IKEA and Samsung. At Mindshare Canada, Renée led as Director Social Media the first automated Twitter campaign in-market for American Express and the social distribution of the acclaimed Dove ‘Real Beauty Sketches’ for Unilever.
Overseeing £125 million worth of billings at MediaCom’s worldwide digital hub, Renée is known for excellence and innovation in media. Renée, as Head of Paid Social Worldwide for MediaCom has been part of Cannes-award winning work e.g. Bose’s ‘Listen for Yourself’, Shell’s ‘The Power of Sport’ and ‘#makethefuture’ – which was named AdAge’s 2016 Viral Video of the Year, with nearly 50 million views on YouTube alone.
In Renée’s current role, Renée ensures MediaCom’s clients are at the leading edge of marketing, covering artificial intelligence, chat bots, voice assistants, connected car and augmented reality.
Renée has been a juror for the M&M Global Media Awards and Digiday Awards, and was selected as an emerging leader for WPP’s Progression Coaching program in 2016. She is the creator of WPP’s Stella Conversations podcast, pairing members of WPP’s senior female leadership network with young female leaders for candid conversation on their careers, the industry and leadership.
